Challenge
Madisonville, OH (A Cincinnati Township)
Establish a new brand identity and meaningful story for a historic and diverse Cincinnati, Ohio, neighborhood. The brand should capture the momentum and progress that have taken place over the past year. It should represent and celebrate this community’s authenticity, rich history, and new synergy.
Opportunity
Create a sense of place and promote current initiatives that drive attraction and improve connectivity within the renewed commercial corridor.
Approach
Katalyst leveraged hospitality data, tourism trends, and multicultural consumer preferences to establish a unique positioning for the Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau to resonate with diverse travelers. From developing naming, visual identity, and a branding approach, Katalyst developed brand touchpoints and collaborated on unique entertainment experiences to heighten brand expression and visitor engagement.
Scope
Katalyst partnered with Kolar Design to provide the economic and community research, provide community engagement support, and design a compelling brand presence.
Outcome
The final visual identity has its roots in the unique and compelling attributes of a growing and vibrant community.
